I’m an author and journalist in Southern California. A journalist since 1996, I most recently worked as Editor of MauiTime, an alt-weekly newspaper based on Maui. I also wrote a series of noirish novels set on Maui–Small Island, The Dead Season, and Pau Hana Time, all published by Event Horizon Press. I put together a collection of my early journalism that deals with classic noir themes like misfits, beautiful babes and rich guys called “Stealing Cars With The Pros.” I currently write for publications like OC Weekly and Long Beach Post, and I’ve written for Sacramento Magazine, Sacramento News & Review, Honolulu Weekly, and CalWatchdog. Right now I live in Orange County with my girlfriend Angie and our two cats.
